Kheema Gravy


Kheema / Minced meat
onion , finely chopped
green chillies -2 , finely chopped
ginger and garlic paste
whole masala ( cardamom,cloves,cinnamon,bayleaves)
chilli powder
coriander powder
garam masala
cooking oil
salt to taste


Heat the oil and add whole masala , immediately add chopped onion and fry for 2-3 minutes, add the turmeric and ginger garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add the chilli powder, coriander powder and green chillies, stir and fry. Add minced meat and fry the meat until it changes colour, stirring frequently. Add the water and salt, add garam masala and coriander leaves, bring to the boil, cover the pan and cook until the meat is tender. Remove from heat. Serve with roti, paratha, naan or chapati or plain rice.
